Assembly – How difficult is the Weslo Cadence G 5.9

by Jack on February 27, 2016

If you can line up two holes, use a screwdriver and wrench then you will be able to assemble the Weslo Cadence G 5.9 treadmill. Is it that easy?

We recently received a question asking our opinion on how difficult this treadmill is to assemble. Would an average mechanically inclined person find this to be a difficult task?

Assemble doesn’t require does not require any special skills.

Even though no special skills are required, obviously some people will have a harder time than others. It will take some people longer than others to complete.

In our opinion the average total assemble time for all people should be between 15-30 minutes. We are talking about lining up a few holes and tightening bolts. There’s nothing real advanced about putting it together.

Word of advice on putting it together

If you do happen to buy the Weslo Cadence G 5.9 treadmill but are worried about the assemble. Then get a friend to help you. It’s possible to do it alone but it will go much smoother and faster with you have another person helping.

When this Weslo Model arrived at our home, once we got it out of the box, looked over the manual it took about 15 minutes to assemble. But we did have a friend helping.

So we would recommend having a 2nd person helping you to set it up in your home.

The Welso Cadence G 5.9 treadmill can be found on our list of best treadmills for under 1000 dollars so we do recommend this model. But at the same time we are not saying this is one of the top models to buy. Our recommendation is simply based on price vs. value. This is a “budget” model.
