BowFlex TC100 Treadclimber using it outside on the Patio?

2016 BowFlex TC100 Treadclimber for use outside on the patio? When writing our review of the BowFlex TC100 Treadclimber there are some questions we never even think about covering. The other day we were ask can you use the TC100 outside, like on a patio. Hmmm. Not completely clear if the person asking meant using it once outside or on a regular basis? Wonder if they were also planning to store it outside?

Not to be rude but the question seemed a little odd. What would they do if it starts pouring down rain? Obviously this would not be good! Put a cover over it? Then I was picturing a person moving it outside onto the patio and then moving it back inside after exercising. Seems like a pretty big hassle and this would be pretty good workout in itself.

So OK, anything is possible if you have a log enough extension cord, however, this is not something we would recommend. The BowFlex TC100 is a great sturdy model but the user’s manual states “not to use it in a damp location”.

So we wouldn’t recommend using it outside where it can get wet. If it were to become damage in this environment the warranty would probably become void. However, we are not the experts on this so it would be best to call 1-800-BowFLEX to speak with a company representative.
