Confidence Fitness Magnetic Manual Treadmill review

Simple Home Treadmill

If you’re currently looking to bring an inexpensive exercise machine to into your home or if you’re already interested in the Confidence Fitness Magnetic Manual Treadmill, do you need a second opinion before buying it? We have a few details to review, advantages and disadvantages.

If you’re a person who wants to improve their cardiovascular health and overall fitness level, maybe lose a few pounds at home but you have a limited amount of money to spend, compared to many models, the price ($149) of this manual model is most definitely an advantage.

However, keep in mind what you are actually buying and don’t expect the quality to equal the big fancy models you may have walked or ran on at the local gym.

Can you walk and jog on it to improve your fitness? Yes. But it doesn’t have a big fancy digital center console, the walking surface isn’t as wide (14 inches wide by 39 inches in length) or as cushioned as other more expensive models.

The Confidence Fitness Magnetic Manual Treadmill is a bare-bones model with almost zero bells and whistles to mention. It does fold up to save space when not in use. It’s also fairly lightweight and has wheels making it fairly easy to move around.

The belt does provide 8 levels of adjustable resistance. A little advice, when you do adjust the resistance, slowly walk on it for 30 seconds to get a feel.

Something else you will want to understand about this machine, the platform is set at an incline, I believe it’s a 12.5% grade incline. this is not ultra steep but will definitely add to the workout difficulty. The incline is set, you can not change it.

The biggest advantage

Confidence Fitness Magnetic Manual Treadmill customer ratingYou may not believe this and before we tell you this secret, the biggest advantage of the Confidence Manual Treadmill, might actually also be one of the biggest sources of complaints.

The biggest advantage? It’s going to kick your butt, if you stick to a regular routine. The more expensive electric treadmills definitely provide comfort advantages and also look very fancy sitting unused in your house. I’am sure if a robber broke into a house and saw a big $2000 treadmill, the robber would probably think the owner of the house was in very good shape and scram!

I don’t exactly believe in the old verbiage, “No Pain, No Gain”, I don’t believe a person needs to hurt themselves to get into shape.

However, to a certain extent, high comfort also produces a level of laziness. Causing many people to never really push themselves to achieve their goals. I guarantee, many people who buy the nicest home exercise equipment still fail to to reach their goals.

Folding; Saves space

The most important factor in the equation is the determination inside the individual, not how nice or how much the equipment looks or costs.

Being a manual model, the Confidence Fitness Magnetic treadmill really makes you work hard. It has no motor to turn the belt, your feet, legs and sweat are the motor.

The Bottom Line

We are not trying to sound crazy here, we know it’s nice to be able to hop on one of those big expensive electric treadmills. But we also believe the Confidence Fitness Magnetic manual treadmill, for the price ($149) provides a lot of value.

It doesn’t provide the extra features found on the more expensive models but if you are serious about improving your fitness and achieving your weight loss goals this model will definitely help get you there.

The only recommendation I can give, don’t buy this model if you don’t want to sweat. Need another recommendation for a home treadmill?
