Is the Sunny Health and Fitness Treadmill easy to move out of the way

Sunny Health & Fitness compact and easy to move around for apartments

Compact and lightweight

Most treadmills are quite bulky and not the easiest things to move. We received a question from a man looking to buy a decent compact treadmill for his mother (for walking) living in an upstairs apartment. Due to the small living space they wanted one which could easily be moved out of the way when not in use. And wondered our opinion on if the Sunny Health and Fitness treadmill would satisfy this need.

To answer this question:

This model has product dimensions of 65 x 28 x 12 inches and weighs 119 pounds. So it’s both compact and lightweight. The model also has the ability to fold up when not in use which also helps reduce its footprint.

Is it easy to move? Located on the bottom of the frame are two wheels allowing it to be rolled out of the way. From our experience with the Sunny Health and Fitness treadmill (see review) hold it with one arm and roll it around the room we were in. Note: We did this while on a hard cement floor of a basement, which would be easier if we were trying to roll it on a carpeted surface. However, this treadmill model is very lightweight so we wouldn’t expect the added difficultly on carpet vs. cement to increase significantly.

Good compact treadmill for walkers? This wouldn’t be a treadmill a person would want to buy for running. While there are other choices¬†we would recommend this Sunny Health and Fitness model for someone who only planned to use it for walking, perhaps also light jogging. It’s compact design also makes it a good choice for someone living in a small space like an apartment.

The man who asked the question never said how much money he was planning to spend but compared to other models in this price range this model is one of the best and has received high ratings from owners.
