Common questions – FreeMotion 890 Treadmill

How much horsepower (hp) does the motor provide? Is this good for running? The motor 4.25 hp. Is this enough power for running? To put this into perspective the lowest amount of horsepower we would recommend for runners is 2.5 hp. So yes, 4.25 is good for people looking to buy a solid running treadmill.

What is the MAX speed? This treadmill is capable of 12 MPH pace which would be a 5 minute mile pace.

What are the dimensions of the tread belt? 22 x 60 -inches

Does it include incline? Yes, 0-15% grade. Button controls are on the center console.

Does it provide decline? Yes, 0 to -3% grade. Button controls are located on the center console.

What is the MAX user weight capacity? 400 lbs.

Does it have a fan? Yes. CoolAire Workout fan system.

Heart rate monitor? Yes. Both hand grips on the arms and a chest strap.

I heard this model comes with a HDTV or is this an extra cost? Yes, it comes with a  ful-color 15-inch HDTV mounted above the center console. See picture above.

Does the TV shake when running on the treadmill? If properly installed no the TV is very stable. If it is shaking you will want to take a look at how it has been installed because something is either loose and needs tighten or broken. It does come with a 5-year warranty on parts.

What is the resolution of the TV? We have looked for information on this question but failed to find it. They use the term HDTV (high definition). Our guess would be it is at least 720p resolution. Possibly the higher 1080p. We highly doubt it is 4K resolution.

TV have a HDMI port? Yes, allowing connection to many external devices.

Does it come iFIT enabled? Yes.

Space Saving Design

When running a course via google maps will this show up on the 15-inch HDTV or will it show up on the 10-inch screen of the center console? Not sure if there is a way to change this if you wanted but this shows up on the 10-inch display of the center console.

Does this treadmill fold-up? Yes.

Does it include pre-programmed work-outs? Yes, 40 programs, centered on weight loss, endurance and incline training.

Does it come with a warranty? Yes. Overall, it provides some very good guarantees.
