Sunny Health & Fitness Treadmill review

Main features provided

Compared to more expensive models you may have seen at your local gym, it’s more compact, the running surface isn’t as spacious. But you shouldn’t have problem, walking, jogging or running on the area provided.

Actually, being a bit thinner might not be a bad thing, as it makes your workout a bit more challenging.

  • Dependable 2.20 Peak HP drive system motor (speeds 0.5 – 10 mph).
  • Running surface is 15.75 inches in width by 48.82 inches in length.
  • Three incline positions.
  • Folding treadmill, space saving when not in use.
  • Center console and handrail controls (control speed, stopping and workout programs).
  • 9 built-in exercise programs (weight loss, heart rate, endurance).
  • The center console is a large easy to read LCD display. Along with a smartphone/tablet holder.

Sunny Health Treadmill reviewWhen writing this review the Sunny Health & Fitness Treadmill was only on the market for around 8 months in 2015. No product is perfect but we have not yet seen a complaint on the model.

After testing the model ourselves we were impressed with the quality the model provides, especially when considering it costs less than $400.

Sooner or later, a customer is bound to have a complaint but we expect it to satisfy the vast majority of people who buy and use it.

What about weight capacity

We want to clear this up, many first time buyers wonder if they are too big or heavy for a certain model.

The weight capacity of the Sunny Health & Fitness Treadmill is 220 pounds. While this is not the highest weigh capacity it’s still a good amount of weight.

Now some people get confused, they think if they are 215 pounds they will not be able to run on a model with a weight capacity of 220 lbs. Since they bring down a lot more force when running.

So if you are wondering, the 220 pound weight capacity means a 220 pound person will be able to run on this model.

Conclusion – Great value for the money

Compared to more expensive models, the Sunny Health & Fitness Treadmill is smaller in size. It doesn’t have as many incline settings or as large of a running platform. It also doesn’t have built in speakers, do you really need these?

It can be described as a budget, bare-bones model. However, we are still extremely impressed with the quality of build. Also, while it does lack many of the bells and whistles found on more expensive models, it does provide the main core features needed for a quality home fitness workout.

Whether your goal is weight loss, endurance or general health maintenance. However you plan to get there, walking, jogging or running? For under $400 this is one of the best treadmills for home use. If you are on a budget this model is hard to beat.

It’s about a third of the cost of LifeSpan TR 1200i Folding Treadmill (Price: $999)the model we rank as being the top model you can buy for your home for under $1000.

We are not saying it’s as good as this model but for the money it may provide more value.
